The Chronicles of Narnia generally feature the adventures of children who play a central role and discover the fictional Kingdom of Narnia, a place where magic is commonplace, animals speak, and battles between good and evil take place. In all the books (with the exception of "The Horse and His Boy") the main characters are children from our world, who are magically transported to Narnia to be helped and instructed by the Great Lion known as Aslan (or Aslan, depending on the Translation).
